Ecomuseum
The museum has a fixed exhibition, which portrays the history of the Itaipu Dam, part of the social and ecological history of the region through portraits, panels, historical pieces and interactive models, which is divided into thematic blocks. It also shows the impacts caused on nature, from construction to the present. The Ecomuseum represents the link between the environment and the work built by man, Itaipu Binacional.
You will find a special collection in the ecomuseum that brings together elements of archeology, flora, fauna and, in particular, the history of the region where the plant and the giant Itaipu reservoir were built.
