3 border mark
The obelisk is a tourist spot that symbolically marks the triple border in their respective national colors: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Each of the three obelisks represents the sovereignty of the three nations and is located on the banks of the Rio Iguaçu and Rio Paraná.
The demarcation is intended to represent equality and respect between the three nations, and so, within that context, the three landmarks form an equilateral triangle.
The visit to Marco das Três Fronteiras has a parking lot, snack bar, handicraft store and a viewpoint, and is located six kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu.
